01 241 plays 241

New Zealand made 241 for 8. England were bowled out on the last ball for 241, so the match went to a Super Over.

Both sides made 15 in the Super Over. The tie-break at the time was boundaries across the whole match, and England had hit more.

02 What changed

The ICC dropped the boundary-count rule soon afterwards. Tied knockout matches now go to repeated Super Overs until there is a winner.
